Croatian President Stjepan Mesic has hailed talks with Libyan Leader Muammar Kadhafi, as he rounded off his three-day visit to Libya Wednesday. “We had a clear idea about the possibilities and areas of cooperation between our two countries in all fields. We noted during this trip the common readiness to increase the volume of cooperation between institutions in the two countries,” the Croatian leader told reporters before his departure Wednesday afternoon. President Mesic also expressed his wish to have direct flights between Libya and Croatia to facilitate he movement of the peoples of both countries. Before his departure Wednesday, The Croatian leader visited the Libyan National Oil Company (NOC) in Tripoli as well as the historic city of Sabrata, 70 km west of Tripoli. Panapress.
