
Syrian Vice President Farouk Al-Chareh Tuesday evening discussed the forthcoming Arab Summit with King Mohammed VI of Morocco, during a stop-over in Rabat, en route the venue of the 13-14 March summit of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) in Dakar, Senegal, official sources told panapress here Wednesday. The Syrian Vice-President, according to the Moroccan National Radio, said his country would spare no effort to ensure the success of the 29-30 March Arab summit in the Syrian capital. He said the summit would help examine everything that was likely to improve the situation in the Arab world and strengthen Inter-Arab solidarity. Before the Arab summit, the heads of state and government of the 57 OIC member countries will meet in Dakar, Senegal to try and consolidate Arab-islamic cooperation and boost the peace process in the Middle-East.
