
Mali Tuesday in Bamako signed with the World Bank a financing agreement, worth 19 billion cfa (US$42 million) for the second support credit to the poverty reduction strategy (CASP2), official sources told Panapress . The loan is aimed at supporting the implementation of the Strategic Framework for Growth and Poverty Reduction, through a stable macroeconomic framework, improved access to basic social services and general management of public expenditure. The document was signed by Ba Fatoumata Nene Sy, Minister of Economy, Industry and Commerce, and World Bank Resident Representative Alassane Diawara.
