Cameroon’s sixth International Cycling Tour will kick off on 28 March in the Moukong district in the country’s far-northern province, the Cameroonian Cycling Association (FCC) has said. FCC Secretary General, Bruno Eloumou told panapress that the cyclists would arrive in Yaoundé on 6 April with the 111.6-km distance being run in nine legs. Fourteen African and European teams will feature in the race with France, Germany, Slovakia, Italy, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Congo, Senegal, Gabon and Cameroon fielding teams. Eloumou said all necessary preparations, including security arrangements, had been made to ensure a smooth race as recommended by the International Cycling Union (UCI).
