
The Japanese International Co-operation Bank (JBIC) has approved two loans worth 147 million euros designed to finance road and water supply projects in the kingdom, diplomatic sources announced here Thursday. The first loan will be devoted to the construction of 630 km of roads as part of the national rural road programme, while the second one is expected to finance the construction of a water supply network in Morocco’s northern and central provinces. The volume of commitments of the JBIC concerning public aid loans to Morocco developed over the past ten years, reaching US$ 2.18 billion. Panapress.
