The Executive Committee of the African Sports Journalists’ Union (ASJU) will meet over the weekend in Casablanca, Morocco, which is hosting the ASJU headquarters. The meeting will focus on the participation of the ASJU at the congress of the International Sports Press Association (AIPS), scheduled to take place on the sidelines of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. On the fringes of this weekend’s meeting, members of the Committee will meet with several Moroccan sports and political officials.
