Egypt and Libya have qualified to represent Africa at the World Futsal Championships in Brazil in September, after advancing to the final of the ongoing 4th African Futsal Championships in Libya. According to organisers African Football Confederation (CAF), Libya qualified after beating Mozambique 4-1 in their second semi-final on Saturday. Egypt had qualified on Friday after beating Morocco 4-1 in the first semi-final. Both teams will meet in the final of the African Championship on Monday, while Morocco and Mozambique were scheduled to vie for the bronze Sunday (30 March). Ten countries – Angola, Cameroon, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Tunisia and Zambia – are participating in the Futsal championships (Five-a-side, indoor version of football).
