Three Cameroonian clubs qualify for next round of African Cup

Cameroon’s clubs taking part in the African League and Confederation Cups qualified for the eighth finals despite their defeat to their respective opponents. In the champion’s League, Cotonsport of Garoua lost (2-1) to Gombe United of Nigeria but went through for beating the Nigerians 5-0 in the first-leg tie. In the Confederation Cup, Mont Cameroon lost 1-0 to Primeiro Maio of Angola but qualified on 2-1 goals aggregate having won the first-leg encounter 2-0. Astres of Douala and Maniema Union du Congo drew 0-0 after Astres had won the first-leg match 2-0. Panapress.
