Football : Chelsea give away two precious points at home

Yesterday’s football match between Chelsea and Wigan Athletic finished in a 1-1 tie with goals from Essien and Emile Heskey at Stamford Bridge. However there was a loser in this match as Didier Drogba’s teammates let 2 points slip and fall 5 points behind Manchester United with only 4 games left to play this could mean the end of their Premier League hopes. The Ivory Coast international was not able to play due to a knee injury according to The Guardian. This draw puts extreme pressure on Avram Grant the Chelsea coach for the upcoming matches against Everton on Thursday and against the current leaders of the Barclays Premier League, Manchester United, on Sunday.
