A new type of camera can now efficiently see through clothes and detect objects, metallic or not, carried by a person according to CNN. The new technology incorporated in the ThruVision 5000 uses T-Rays, non radioactive rays, who present no risks to subjects exposed to them. Although the camera is claimed to not reveal any detailed anatomy, privacy invasion is still an issue considering that the ThruVision 5000 is made to scan large areas without people being aware of it.
