The Ghana Stock Exchange had an impressive run to end the week on Friday with the benchmark index, the GSE All-Share Index, going up by 87 . 42 points. The index closed Friday’s session buoyed by gains from Ecobank Transnational Inc orporated (ETI) and Standard Chartered Bank at 8,833.32 points. Change for the year to date now stands at 33.84 per cent. Traded volumes for the day stood at 1,605,300 shares with CAL Bank alone account ing for 1.5 million shares. On the broader market there were three positive price changes. ETI gained GH¢ 0. 04 at GH¢ 2.00, Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) was up GH¢ 0.01 at GH¢ 1.84 a n d Stanchart (SCB) went up GH¢ 0.03 to close GH¢ 26.80. Market capitalisation closed the session up at GH¢ 14,576.18.
