President Bush from the United States and President Calderon from Mexico held a press conference at the North American summit in New Orleans. Bush said This is not the moment to walk away from NAFTA and praised the economic boost the free trade agreement (FTA) has had on the countries concerned. He also strongly defended a Colombia FTA saying that Canada had already started negotiations and that Mexico already had one.
