Terrorism : Top Pakistani Taliban commander calls truce

According to Pakistan Dawn, Baitullah Mehsud, the leader of Pakistani Taliban, has called a truce by demanding that his fighters “immediately cease their activities”. This truce would be the result of negotiations between the Taliban and the government that would include prisoner exchanges in an attempt to bring peace to the region. The Taliban leader has warned that those who would not comply to the agreement would be punished.
