According to BBC News the Chinese state news agency, Xinhua, announced that Chinese officials would meet with Dalai Lama’s aides in “the coming days”. This would be the first time since a new wave of rioting started in Nepal last month. The Dalai Lama has distanced himself from these riots, as he calls for larger autonomy for Tibet and total independence.
