The Olympic torch enjoyed one of its rare protest-free stops on Monday in the North Korean capital according to Al Jazeera. The relay through Pyongyang, led by the soccer legend Pak Du Ik, unrolled under the eyes of thousands of cheering fans. This week end the torch relay in South Korea was marked by clashes between pro-Tibet and pro-China protesters despite heavy security measures taken by South Korean police.
