A deadly virus in China has already killed at least 26 children across the country according to AFP. The latest deadly case was in eastern China’s Zhejiang province. Enterovirus, or EV71, provokes fever, blisters and rashes and has so far infected more than 5000 children. The virus is easily transmitted by sneezing or coughing and affects children due to their more fragile immune system. The disease is believed to have started as early as March in the Anhui province. The fact that the press have known of this disease only last week has sparked cover-up accusations the government has denied.
