According to CNN Senator Obama won North Carolina with 56% of votes, whereas Senator Clinton managed a narrow win at 51% in the state of Indiana. With 1836 delegates against 1,681 Obama still remains ahead. With neither candidate expected to win the 2,025 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic nomination by June 3, the end of the primary season, the final decision will most likely fall to the 796 superdelegates: Democratic governors, members of Congress and party officials (CNN).
