Namibian Kees Lensing has undergone medical tests with a view to signing a contract with the Castres rugby club (Top 14) in France, a sports source has disclosed. The Namibian international is expected to be hired by Castres as a prop until the end of the season, if the medicals are successful. Lensing has been playing at South African Coastal Sharks (Super 14) team. He took part in the last World Cup (7 September-20 October 2007 in France) with Namibia and has been selected 19 times in the national side. The Namibian international has a European experience, having played in the English championship under Leeds in 2005-2006. Lensing, 29, is 1.90m tall and weighs 120kg.
