Sudan Armed Forces kill rebel commander and 45 others

Sudan Armed Forces Sunday killed Jamal Hassan Jala-Eddin, commander of the rebel Justice and Equality Movement, Sudan National News Agency (SUNA) said, quoting an authorised source of the Sudan Armed Forces. According to the source, the armed forces fought with the rebels at 50 kilometers from western Omdurman and completely eradicated all the 45 men of the rebel force, after pursuing them for hours. The armed forces undertook a combined operations following the Saturday attack by the rebel Justice and Equality Movement on the Sudanese town of Omdurman.
