According to CNN quarantine officials killed all poultry in the South Korean capital this Monday. The poultry was slaughtered to contain a second bird flu outbreak that has hit the country in less than a week. Yesternight authorities confirmed that the latest outbreak in Seoul was caused by the deadly H5N1. There have been several virus outbreaks all around South Korea in the last month including two in Busan. The virus remains hard for people to catch -241 dead since 2003- but scientists worry it could mutate into a form that spreads more easily between humans, with the potential to kill millions worldwide (CNN).
