Three French nationals arrested at the Marrakech airport (southern Morocco) with guns, cartridges and undeclared euros were charged at the Rabat military court on Thursday, a judicial source said. French-Egyptian Hassan Daoud Youssef and two French-Algerian nationals – Saadna El Houari and Jamal Mhadji – are accused of “illegal possession of guns and ammunition”, “possession of foreign currency with dubious origin not reported to the customs” and “money laundering”. Youssef, 24 years, was arrested on 6 May at the Marrakech airport with a gun and 10 cartridges concealed in his luggage, while El Houari and Mhadji were arrested with an undeclared 37,000 euros, according to the same source.
