Al Qaeda suspects arrested in France

According to France 24 eight people were arrested in France in a joint operation with police in Germany and the Netherlands where two other suspects were detained. The suspects, linked to Al Qaeda, were accused of helping bankroll extremists in Uzbekistan. The group “is linked to the Pakistani-Afghan” area, the source added. The French domestic DST intelligence agency had been investigating the ring for close to a year and the arrests were ordered by anti-terrorism judge Thierry Fragnoli (France 24).
