The run-off between Robert Mugabe’s ZANU PF and Morgan Tsvangirai’s MDC will take place on the 27th of June according to BBC News. According to official results released more than a month after the first elections took place, the opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai won 47.9% of votes. However these results were disputed by the MDC that claimed that the delay in releasing the results showed that the results had been tampered with. Morgan Tsvangirai affirms that he won 50.3% of votes which would mean he should be president without a run off.
