Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is embarking on his first foreign visit since he took over the Russian leadership. The trip will take him to high priority countries including Kazakhstan znd China. According to the BBC, Mr. Medvedev is expected to encourage the Kazakh government to continue exporting most of its oil via russian pipelines through a long-term deal.
