All nine people on board a Russian cargo plane were killed when a Russian An-12 cargo plane crashed near the Siberian city of Chelyabinsk. Crew on board the plane which caught fire in mid air are said to have notified the authorities before the crash. According to CNN Russia known for some of the worlds worst air traffic safety records have been constantly blamed for its weak adherence to air safety standards.
