Ghana has been hit by shortage of aviation fuel, with officials blaming the situation on technical problems that have prevented delivery. Suppliers have not been able to deliver aviation fuel for about one week, but airport sources said on Thursday that flight schedules at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra had not been affected. Airport officials said airlines operating in Ghana had been told to refuel in neighbouring countries.
They said the problem would be resolved in about one week.
