Mrs. Hillary Clinton has been projected to win the Puerto Rico primary by a wide margin, according to projections after the polls Sunday. The win is unlikely to make her gain ground over rival Barack Obama, who is tipped to win the Democrat nomination. She would need to win 65 percent of the Puerto Rico vote with a turnout of at least 2 million people if she wants to lead Obama. However, election officials have confirmed that only 1.5 million ballots were printed. Whilst CNN estimated the turnout at around 400,000, that is, 1.6 million short of the needed participants.
