The 14th International Drama Festival of Mindelo in Cape Verde, kicked off Thursday, featuring several foreign delegations, including those from Brazil, Portugal, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Spain, Netherlands and Italy. During the festival, ending 14 September, the Copacabana award (named after the popular Brazilian beach in Rio De Janeiro) would be presented to the Cape Verdean dance and drama group — Raiz di Polon.
