Chinedu Ogbuke, Ade Adeleye and Obasi Olubayo Adefemi have all pleaded to be included in the Nigerian Senior team. The Olympic Silver medallists have appealed to the National team coach Shaibu Amodu to incorporate them into his squad for next month’s international against Sierra Leone. Some of the Olympic silver-winning players strongly believe they have all it takes to deliver on the senior level. Former Super Eagle skipper and Dream Team IV assistant coach, Henry Nwosu had also called for the inclusion of some of the silver winning players at the Olympics in the senior national team. “Without taking anything away from the present crop of players, I think they can hold their own if given the chance.” He added.
