The international court of Justice (ICJ) will announce March 4 its decision to issue an international arrest warrant against Sudanese President, Omar el-Bachir, the BBC announced. The Sudanese president is accused of war crimes in Darfur. Meanwhile, the Sudanese authorities have said that they will not respect the ICJ decision. The African Union (AU) has also asked the United Nations security Council to suspend the legal procedure for a year. According to the AU, Omar el Bachir’s arrest could compromise peace efforts in Darfur.
