According to France 24, African Leaders at the World Forum on Sustainable Development in Ouagadougou declared on Friday that the continent needs 44 billion Euros to deal with the effects of global warning. Experts believe that Sub-Saharan Africa is one of the regions most affected by global warning. The World Bank estimates that the developing world will suffer about 80 percent of the damage of climate change despite accounting for only around one third of green house gase emissions into the atmosphere. A UN climate summit that will be taking place in two months in Copenhagen is set to seal a planet-saving global deal.
